Organization Overview

HAVEN is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. With a wide range of services, including counseling, forensic exams, shelter, court advocacy, financial assistance, and education, HAVEN stands as a pillar of hope and support for those in need.

Challenges Faced

Before partnering with HR Tech Solutions, Haven encountered several significant challenges which impacted Haven's operations. Leading to slowed HR processes, recruitment difficulties, and inconsistencies in accountability. Which, in turn affected overall morale and efficiency.

Lack of Automation: The absence of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) hindered efficient HR management.

Inconsistent Policies and Procedures: Variability across programs led to inefficiencies and confusion.

The project involved a close collaboration between HAVEN's HR Director and HR Tech Solutions, focusing on needs analysis, HRIS system selection, and the implementation process. Despite initial trust issues due to HR Tech being an external vendor, regular updates and transparency from HR Tech Solutions helped quickly build confidence within HAVEN's team.
