Employee Navigator Acquires Ease: How to prepare for the transition

If you’re an Ease customer, it’s not breaking news that Employee Navigator has purchased Ease and is merging them within their current platform. 

This will result in the company growing to support over 150,000 businesses with over 300 integrations. Making Employee Navigator one of the biggest Benefit Administration vendors in the industry. 

Employee Navigator CEO states in an official press release, “Our priority is to move all of Ease’s key features to Employee Navigator and to build a migration tool to make the transition as seamless as possible for brokers and your customers.”

  • It is unlikely that fees will change for most Ease brokers in 2024. 
  • It will be possible to use migration tools in Employee Navigator to make moving a case from Ease to Employee Navigator automatic.
  • The Employee Navigator API for Ancillary Carriers lets brokers cut down on the work of setting up plans by hand. 
  • Employee Navigator has claimed that carriers say they want to help brokers switch companies.
  • Employee Navigator says that they are going to port almost every Ease feature that is not already there. Totaling approximately 120 features to be ported.
  • The Employee Navigator team is planning some enhancements to the Ease software platform to identify employees who are missing key data fields that are creating carrier errors, improve navigation to locate carrier errors, and improve the tool that assigns errors to broker users.
  • Ease currently offers a premium HRIS component. Employee Navigator plans to release a premium HRIS product as part of the integration.
